NEW PERFORMANCE & NEWS! Move Over J-Hud... Letoya BELTS out the National Anthem!
Ya girl Letoya Luckett is hard at work putting the finishing touches to sophomore album 'Lady Love', but before we get into that check out a new performance that the former Destiny's Child star singing the National Anthem at last weeks Lakers Vs Rockets game.
Whoa, I never knew my girl had pipes like that! J-Hud could get knocked off her throne soon if she isn't careful!
Ok so now for Letoya album update. First off, "She Ain't Got Shit On Me" is 100% confirmed as the second single, and should be released around June/July. As for the album itself 'Lady Love', recording has basically finished and Letoya is in the process of choosing the final tracklisting. The tracks she's recorded so far contain collaborations with Chris Brown, Estelle, Tank, Ludacris, Marsha from Floetry, Missy Elliot, Bun B, and Slim Thug.
"I don't sing anything that I can't relate to, or my fans can't relate to" said Letoya of the new album "I hope & pray that these records, these songs, can be the soundtrack to your situation, whatever you're going through with relationship or just life period. I hope you can use these songs to help get through it".
In other news, Letoya's feature film debut "The Preachers kid" will be hitting theatres this September, and Toy is about to shoot her second film soon with A-listers Ashton Kutcher & Katherine Heigl.
I am so excited for Lady Love. All the records from it have been absolutely crazy, and this an album that the people need. We have too much from these fake-fake chicks giving us hot records but with no feeling & no realness, and that's why we need ladies like Letoya & Keyshia Cole to come out and give us that real music that we can relate to.
