I smile when i come across songs like this, this song features the big names in Nigerian music (2Face Idibia, Banky W, M.I, Sasha, Timaya, Timi Dakolo, Tosin Martins, Omawumi & produced by Cobhams) coming together for a cause to get streets off the streets of Africa. The concert was held in Lagos on the 31st of January and also featured Carl Thomas, Angie Stone, 9ice, D'banj & Donell Jones. Chris Brown Hit's Rihanna Over T.I. and was Arrested

Chris Brown almost got in a fight at the VMA rehearsal. reporting:

“I heard that Chris Brow had somehow “crashed” the rehearsal session with T.I and Rihanna for that new T.I. song. I can’t remember the name and I am being lazy. But, I heard the situation was tense, because Chris was interloping. Somebody talked to mediatakeout.com and detailed the near-fight. Chris Brown allegedly interrupted the T.I. and Rihanna time together because Brownie was clowing around the stage area. Tip reportedly said, “Can someone get this little [cuss word] out of here?” They said Chris Brown said something slick, a move that almost got him beat down. T.I. said, “I’m not playing with that boy, I’ll hurt him.” They made Chris leave.”

This is believable, because something did look a little strange with that performance by T.I. and Rihanna. They killed it, but Rihanna almost acted like she didn’t want to get too close to T.I.P. I hope they keep the peace…



His bail was set at $50,000, I think hell be out by tomorrow.

Mrs. Addison brings her A-game. If this don't get you moving, I just don't know what will. Her vocals are on point and she is just truely annointed.She covers an old favorite "Make Me Better", in a contemporary vein but the song still has that old school toe tapping beat. It is impossible to sit still while these songs are playing, which could be a problem while driving, just make sure you watch the road!

Crystal Aikin - Crystal Aikin [2009]

There are really some interesting songs on it that not only show a vocal range, but a style versatility that is becoming more prevalent in gospel music now.This CD has moments where you can just praise God. It has moments where you can ride down the street with it blasting. It's a CD that your kids will listen to. Her songs aren't real churchy sounding songs but, they are still beautiful.

Have been awaiting this CD since "Sunday Best" ended. It does not disappoint!!

The CD's title also takes Heather back to her father's one room church in Trinidad. "That is where I learned to sing," she fondly remembers. "I would close the windows and practice singing and playing the piano for hours pretending I was performing for a crowd of people, using a hairbrush as a microphone. I was singing to an empty church, and God was my audience, an audience of one."

Explaining the album title, AUDIENCE OF ONE, the Trinidad-born, Indiana-raised, and Northwestern University educated star gives credit to her husband Brian Musso. He reminded her one day about the little church back home, "the joy that I found singing in that empty church to my `audience of one.' And so that is what this album is... a girl singing to the only audience that really matters... the One Audience who is truly worthy." "I grew up in the church, actually above the church, and this album not only grants me a way to sing music I've always wanted to, but it also gives me a chance to give God some overdue praise for everything He has done, and continues to do for me. I really don't deserve all that He has given me. I can't help but be grateful; so, we'll take the voice He gave and thank Him with it... This is My gift to God. My relationship with Him is paramount."

Recording a gospel album is a natural transition for Heather who admits that as a Christian, she was uncomfortable with provocative lyrics submitted to her. "I never wanted to compromise anything, now I want to make sure God is happy," Heather says. "This album is for Him."
